Evie,

I grew up in Southern Calif also!! Going barefoot everywhere was just a way of life. I was thinking about all that the other day, so I just chuckled when I read your comment. I'm in the mountains now and miss the beach now that we are having crazy HOT weather.
I go barefoot in the house still but worry about doing it in my sewing room. It's a miracle I haven't stepped on pin yet!! I should
get my husbands metal detector and run it around the room when I'm done with a big project.
