I am wondering if any one has ever stippled a log cabin quilt? I am thinking about one for a baby and would be doing it on my regular machine. Thank you for any/all suggestions.

I have seen several of them stippled, on the lady changed color of thread with each color of fabric it was beautiful and a very tight stipple, one was looser with monofiliment thread still beautiful,

I saw a log cabin quilt that was quilted with swirls and circular designs...kind of nice to off-set the straight lines and block design of the log cabin. For a baby, you might even try some hearts in a continuous line design all over the quilt. Even animal designs like teddy bear outlines etc. You will find something cute...just draw some ideas on paper, hold them on top of the quilt to see what you like and then go for it!! :)

Stippling works well on log cabin. The quilt has simple lines and calls for simple quilting.
