I've never had that problem. I hope that it gets better.

I love to applique, but my hand has never gone numb. Maybe ask your dr. next time you're there.

I have this problem do to a work accident in 97. I only do had work for 15 - 20 min then have to break and stretch and shake my arm. It is even like that when I am on the computer. I would see a dr and have it checked out to make sure it is not serious.

Do you have carpal tunnel? I do and my wrist/hand/elbow will go numb and really start hurting when I am working on the computer at work a lot. It does really happen when quilting. I have to wear hand bands when it acts up. I was told to wear them at night when you are sleeping. That might help you to wear these at night. It keeps your wrists from moving too much at night and they can relax.

Yes. I never had any extensive testing done to find out how severe mine is, but my doctor told me I have all the symptoms of it. So far I can live with it but someday I am sure I will need to see him again to see if surgery will be needed.

Without any tests, my dr. told me I have Corpal Tunnel. My hands go so numb! He told me to go to the hand center and have them fixed. I haven't yet. A friend told me about the corpal tunnel wrist things to wear at night. I only bought one and it is ambidexterous so my hands take turns getting to wear it. It does help.

I have that problem. More so in the morning. I do exercises for my hand and wrists. I have a ball I squeeze. It helps to strengthen my fingers. Look under tennis elbow for exercises. Those are the exercises the Doctor recommended.
