Re: CURVED PIECING
Welcome to the comunity! I'm not good at explaing things in writing. I think is is much better to watch how to do something. Go to www.quiltersnewsnetwork.com they have shows on there for free, but sometimes it's hard to watch. Try taking a class at your local quilt shop! thats very helpfull!

I used to make my own clothes before quiltig. There are a lot
of curves in clothing. Just make sure you pin. I start in the center and move out to the sides from there. If you centers match you can just ease the fabric to the ends.

One person's method that I've tried and works well: Cut your templates from freezer paper and iron to your fabric, then cut them out. Don't forget to add seam allowances if they're not already there. Mark the seam lines on both pieces, also mark the centers of both pieces. Remove the freezer paper. Using long slim pins, pin the pieces together, matching the centers and moving out. Catch just a tiny thread with the pins, and match the seam lines as you go. Do not clip into the seam allowance at any point; you should be able to ease everything in without clipping. Sew slowly & carefully & it should work!

There is the Curve Master foot, too. I've never used one but watched others. It's pretty neat and, of course, they made it look very easy.

there is a thread on the curver master foot on here somewhere....more cons than pluses listed i think.
At quilt camp last year we had a teacher and book she wrote called 'curved pieces so simple'...by Dale Fleming. Her methods are good.
Hope this helps.
