tee shirt quilt

Post by jmyerger » Wed Jul 15, 2015 1:31 pm

We have a stack of tee shirts cut into 4 inch strips. They are all continuous no beginning or end. How can we put these together for a easy quilt? Suggestions please Sandy

Sandy, first off are you needing help with stabilizing techniques or are you needing pattern suggestions? Second, you might try going over to the sew in thread and asking your question there as well. I'll check back later to see if I can help you better.

You will need to add a stablizer (wonder under, or interfacing, iron on kind) to back of teeshirt fabric. Complete like any other quilt.
If you need some kind of design you could add sashes.

P.S. When you iron stablizer on press instead of moving iron back and forth. Put a piece of fabric on the top of teeshirt and press from front.

Hope this helps.
