Extended the length of a row
We swap a quilt around from one member to another each month and I am supose to make my row match the person that made a row for the quilt last month this is a Christmas quilt I got to do the second row for it last person did some beautiful machine embrodiery for her row I am making. The present block which looks like a Christmas wrapped present row needs to be 90 inches long mine is about 5 inches less than that. Trying to figure out how I can extend both ends enough to make it 90 inches with out it looking like I goofed. Any suggestions

Could you add all five inches to one side by adding a gift tag?

if you make a rectangle and dog ear the corners on one end like you would a snowball block you could write to and from with a permanenet marker.
or you could put a holly leaf appliqued in a square on each end?

Just noticed you were trying to make a tag. Did you get it figured out? If not send me a PM and I'll give you a couple of ideas.
