Nesting help!

Post by Babyboy » Sat Jan 04, 2014 2:53 am

Hello, i'm a new quilter here goes my question.
I've been taught to press my seam allowance to the dark side always. Now its time to put my rows together - when it comes to nesting not all my seam allowance fall on opposite sides of each other for easy nesting. What is the trick for this when the seam allowances fall on the same side when fabric is right sides together? Thanks kindly for your help.

Not everything has to follow the rules!

Your can press so that the seams will lock togerher - nest- in some patterns you let the block tell you how to press the seams. There is not a hard and fast rule.
