Quilt repair

Post by onagain53 » Mon Sep 02, 2013 4:25 am

I made my son a log cabin quilt in 1997 and it is in need of some repair. Unfortunately, I had used an inferior fabric on one of the colors and it is disintegrating. I have purchased fabric to replace the old fabric and will be appliquing the new fabric onto the quilt.

If anyone has any suggestions for a better way of repairing the quilt, I am open to suggestions.

That is how I would do it too.
Learned a long time ago too about using chain store fabrics. Just not worth it.

That is how I would do it also. If you can post a picture of it over in the photo thread I am sure we would all love to see it.
