Hi Folks. I am about to start on Day & Night quilt. In the instruction book it says to use InvisiGrip to put on the bottom of the template to help keep it from slipping. I couldn't find it anywhere in the QIAD
site. Any suggestions on what to use or where I can find the item? (Jo-Ann doesn't have it either)
Thanks, LOWELL

Okay, I posted and it is floating around out there somewhere. I could not find it at QIAD, surprisingly. However, on the Joanns website look for Omnigrid Invisigrip for about $8.95. I love it.

Lowell,
Invisigrip is a plastic film to put on the bottom of your rulers to keep them from slipping... because I am very talented mine slipped anyway....lol
I use sand paper dots... also found at JoAnn's, they don't mess us the fabric and they do work to hold the ruler...
or, you could simply hold your ruler a bit firmer and steadier and not let it slip... can't wait to see your creation, you make such beautiful things....

I still had some slipping with the Invisigrip, so I clipped a few little squares from a sheet of sandpaper and stuck 'em on with glue stick. That ruler doesn't budge a bit now.

I typed Invisigrip in the Search box at the very top right corner of this page, and it came up. Perhaps QIAD was out of it when you were looking, Lowell. I have it on EVERY one of my rulers. The sandpaper dots work welll, too, to prevent slipping, but I find that they make it hard to adjust your ruler on the fabric.

I have another use for Invisigrip. I cut out two pieces, one for the bed and one for the fold up bed, of my Featherweight. It covers the two bed pieces and protects the finish from pin scratches and decal wear. Just remember to cut out a hole for the feed dogs.

Lowell - I hope you found some Invisigrip. I love it and have it on all my rulers. I use to use the sand paper dots but for some reason they irritated me.
