new to free motion quilting. I have a Janome Horizon and I'm looking for tips to make it easier.

Have you seen El's machine quilting primer over in the media theater? It's in the "From Scraps to Quilts" series. Also go to the "search" feature for the forum and type in machine quilting and click "topics." There are a few pages of past discussions that may help. If you're looking for help specifically with the Horizon, hang on and someone may have the info you need. Other than that, "practice makes perfect and perfect takes practice." :^)
