Hello everybody

I have a flying goose question. I LOVE making them with El's method and rulers, but I'm needing a "formula" for making them different sizes. I know how to do it if you want a 6.5" x 3.5" but am thinking about making a quilt using geese and I'm not what size exactly I need to make the goose parts!

Any ideas?

Thanks
maryq

Hi mary, I remember seeing on one of El's videos--a long time back-about this. Sue was making a quilt with her and I don't remember what or which one it was on. Sorry I can't be of more help, but that gives you a starting point or something. Let me put my thinking cap on and see what I can remember. Sandy, thinking

Someone check my memory here, but I think it is.....
Larger measurement ie: 2 X 4 inches, use 4
Add 1 1/2 inches for the small square
Add another 1 1/2 inches for the large square

So: 4 inches + 1 1/2 would mean the smaller square is 5 1/2 inches

5 1/2" + 1 1/2" would mean the larger square is 7 inches
