Eliminating bulk at points

Post by JerryG » Sat Mar 20, 2010 4:32 pm

I'm sorry if someone already posted this, but I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction about how to eliminate the bulk where points intersect, such as in the middle of a lonestar block. I know I saw a segment where El made a "flower" of all the points on the back of a star block but I can't seem to find it. Help! Thanks...

If click on 'Free Pattern' at the top of this page and then open up the PDF for MerryGoRound, there is an illustration on spinning seams. I do it to nearly everything I make any more.

Spinning out the seams is great - it really works - also on a four patch or anywhere you have many intersections - the free pattern section shows it great as well as the media theatre here too
