I love to use sizing on my fabric for piecing. I like startch of I know for sure I'm going to wash my project. It makes it nice & crisp & SO much easier to handle.

I know how you feel - I fell in love with Mary Ellen's Best Press

I love Mary Ellen's Best Press. I buy it by the gallon (or whatever size that big size is) and refill my bottle as needed. I agree, the starch, sizing, or Mary Ellen's does give the fabric some body and makes lining up fabric and cutting so much easier.

I fell in love with Mary Ellen's Best press too - every time we go thru Reno to SLC I stop at this great discount fabric shop and get it really cheap. I have several bottles in storage!! DH is trained to get off the freeway for me at this store!!

Jana, Does that store have a web site? I love the stuff too, but it is beyond my pocketbook. I have been making my own, I just need to find a better spray bottle.....

I like to use sizing as well but find I am allergic to some of them (skins peels off my fingers). I haven't tried the Mary Ellen brand yet.
