Your hand quilting is lovely, and so is your FQ stash! Hmm, I see some lovely purple fabric. :^)

Looks like you got the hang of it! WOW!!! Nice job!!! O.K. now I want to edit my photos and take my quilting off! Can you make a pillow or use that block in a wall hanging? It's way too pretty and nice to not show off!
P.S. Nice FQ stash!!!

thank you. yes it is a 12x12 piece of fab. i was thinking i would just make a bunch of 12 x12 while practicing then put them together somehow. i have ordered a whole cloth quilt top in queen size. i will practice until i can make stiches even each time before i start on it. and thank you again. this is the site i went to , they have a good pix of how to hold your hand and needle, it finely made sense to me looking at this pix.

Oh my goodness...what lovely, even stitches you make!! Wow...I doubt I could do that to save my life...lol!
Have you done this by eye, or are you using something like Tiger Tape? Just curious. I really envy folks who can hand stitch so beautifully with no guide markings!

i used a circle of poly basted to the feather, then trimmed real close to basting stiches. then i layered with 100% cotton, i keep all my scraps of batting. since i was using scrap of kona cotton i just grabbed the cotton batting, i like the way it handles. i have been searching the web for stencils i have sure found lots of them, i thought about trying to get stencils and marking my own queen size top. BUT, after i have spent hrs marking a baby size top no way am i going to make a queen size for now. maybe later.
i use to embrodiery and i find hand stiching so relaxing.
