Not that I have seen, but Diana McClun and Laura Nownes have one that is easy - They have a website called Empty Spools - that was the name of Dian's shop here in No. California and it might have a link as to where you could find the pattern.

Karen Combs has done many of these. The secret is leaving the 1/4 inch from the point of union that makes the difference. She has a web site, but I don't have the address here for some reason. Just put on the web search, karencombs.com and I think it would come up.Her quilts are also illusion quilts. They look hard, but they are fun.
