direction of seams

Post by nanner » Sat Jul 25, 2009 12:55 pm

After you sew the final row in the quilt, should you press each row in the opposite direction (like you do so you can nest the seams) or all in one direction? I know this is a stupid question, but I don't think I have ever seen directions about how to press the last set of seams. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks, Nancy.

I'm with Jana.....whatever works the best. No rules set in stone and no quilt police.

....and there are no stupid questions. I don't blame you a bit for asking, I've wondered myself.
