I'm not too good at coming up with ideas on how to quilt, but just wanted to tell you how pretty your quilt top is! Love it! I'm sure others with more experience in quilting will offer suggestions for this pretty top! Can't wait to see pics when it's finished!

I have heard you should do curved quilting patterns on something so geometric. I have seen log cabins done with circles and it looks awesome, or an all over meander.

WOW - I love the quilt top. It's so pretty. I can never figure out how to quilt my quilts so I'm surely not going to make any suggestions here. I will say that if you are going to use a stencil(s) to mark your quilt that WASHABLE Crayola markers work very well for marking. The markings come right out in the washer when your quilt is complete. Let us know what you decide to do on this.

EDIT: go to www.quiltscomplete.com and then go to stencils, blocks. I think the "Feathered Triangles" or one of "Triangle Designs" sencils would look nice in the red and green parts and then just meander or stipple or pebble in the light sections.

Whenever I'm in doubt on how to quilt something, I MEANDER it :o) Soooo guess how most of mine are quilted?? You can pull up my quilt pics by doing a search of Quilterbee.

Your quilt is gorgous! My fav block is Log Cabin, so versatile yet always looks impressive. Can't wait to see it when your done, Amie :o)

I don't do my own I don't own a long arm not even a short arm so can't offer any sugestions but I would like to tell you how rich the colors are in your quilt and how pretty it is.
