I have a darling panel kit that I bought. The back of the kit is minkie fabric the front cotton. I have been using fuseable something or other to iron on labels. Is it possibly to iron on a label on to minkie fabric or should I sew the label on. The little quilt is small 18 x 20ish. Thank you

I stitch on my labels, usually by hand after the quilting is done. I think an easier way would be to sew the label onto the backing before you make your sandwich and quilt it. the label will be quilted right into the back and it will be really secure.

I like Cindy's idea. I'd be very hesitant about applying any heat to minkee. If you do, try it on a small scrap of minkee. I've found used dryer sheets are great for cleaning the bottom of the irons. I put several on the ironing board and iron them till my iron is clean. Then toss the fabric sheets in the garbage. You can probably guess why I'm telling you about the dryer sheets! LOL
