Squares not lining up

Quuilter I hear you, nothing of mine never adds, up my seam not even, I know it, and still continues. Until I discovered rulers than avoid many errors. Or should I say "fool proof"

You all do know that there is only stretch in the cross width. You want to turn your squares so that the stretchy side will work in your favor.
Also, if one square is larger than the other, put it on the bottom because the feeddogs will help ease in the extra.
