Quilting Minkee

Help!
I need a quick quilt. I found a great panel, and backed it with Minkee type fabric. I decided against batting, as Arizona is pretty warm most of the year.
How closely should I quilt to minimize the shifting of fabric?
Thanks!

I've done two quilts in Minky so far. I used 505 adhesive spray to keep it from shifting while quilting it.
It would look pretty with an overall meandering stitch. Or, if you can do outline quilting on the design in the panel.
I bought fleece with the Army emblem on it with tanks and helicopters. I outlined the "US ARMY" and the emblem and did some stars in the big areas.
So, let the panel design be your guide to quilting it. Since there's no batting, you just to anchor it. I would not have any open areas more than 8 inches. You could out line the major design then us meandering in the background areas.
Can you post a picture of the panel. Some one may have already done it and would give you some pointers.
If I can find my rose panel, I will post a picture of it. Although it wasn't Minkee or fleece backed, I did outline stitching on the roses and pretend stitch in the ditch on the blocks.

Using panels are quick easy ways to make quilts.

Wow, Your roses look great!
(I am unable to post pictures until I buy another camera. That will have to wait awhile.)
I found great construction panels. One has all the heavy equipment as pictures inside squares, the other looks like a construction zone, with a road winding around and through, with the various machines, trailers etc. I've started the quilting, thinking no empty spot larger than my hand. It sounds like we are on the same page.
I have two young grandsons - who are each becoming big brothers. The 3 yr old has a new baby brother, (born YESTERDAY!), and the 2 yr old will have a baby sister next month. They both LOVE the front loaders, and dump trucks, etc. So I'm making them blankets with the panels, while the babies get Yellow Brick Road quilts - 1 complete, the other planned but not started.
Thank you so much for your help!
