Instead of a styrofoam egg, use a square of fabric, pin each row of folded little squares/triangles and sew on row by row. Ya think?

Luv_2, I posted in another category, but these tiles look an awful lot like prairie points to me...you could make them any size to work with just about any project, I would think.
If you have a copy of The Quilter's Ultimate Visual Guide, instructions on prairie points are in there. You can probably find a link on the internet as well.

I am having a problem. I would like to add a label on my quilt that I am giving to my son, but don't know how or what to do it with. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the link to the pine cone. I will make some of these for Christmas this year, using fabric instead of ribbon.
