What foot do I use to do this?

On a quilt block I drew a fish (don't ask) and need to be able to stitch it. My head says the darning foot but I don't want to do that unless I have to. I don't have a lot of control with that foot, but since the fish is oval, can I do it with the walking foot?
Sorry for my rambling, can you tell I'm clueless? LOL Help!

I do cables with my walking foot. Come the think of it, I did 1 1/4" diameter circles with walking foot as well.
So, I guess the question is are the curves gentle enough to do with a straight stitch?

The walking foot would work but I'd go slowly to make it around the curves smoothly.

The total size of the fish is about 7 1/2" so I think the curves are gentle enough. If I couldn't use a straight stitch, what would I use? It's not an applique piece, it would just be a quilting design in the center of the snowball block.

I made a really cut rabbit face using my open-top foot but doing the triple-stitch. It goes forward 2 then back 1... you only have to be careful where the stitch is when you try to turn a curve. Be sure it has done all 3 steps, then turn. And, if you reduce the pressure on your pressure foot it will turn rounded edges very smoothly. I love it for going around hearts, etc.

If all else fails, try your darning foot, free motion, & leave your feed dogs up. I find I have alot more control that way...
