String quilt
I'm thnking about trying a string quilt with some of my pastel noodles. I don't know whether to use paper or fabric foundation? Any suggestions from your experiences?

Re: String quilt
The stockings we made for the troops were string pieced on fabric and they went together really fast. Make them a little bigger than you want, then trim to size. I have no expierence with string piecing on paper.
Good luck and have fun.

Re: String quilt
I've always used a thin muslin. Seems to stabalize the block.

My string pieced pinwheels were done on pages from an old phone book.
