I bought the book Folded Fabric elegance by Rami Kim and the method used to make the continuous prairie points is fantastic! Anyone have this book and tried this method too?

I have done regular prarie points for different things, but please tell more. I have not seen the book or video. I forgot to mention, that I put praries points on a quilt before I put the binding on. I really liked it, since it kinda looked like an extra. The child plays with it like a satin edging. The child wore one place out almost.

I have never done prarie points, can someone tell me more???
I've seen them done (on TV) and I know you take squares and fold them, but do they remain with an open edge?
Are these different than "continuous" prarie points?
Any info you can tell me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Joann

Carin and Bransmom,
Prairie points are time-consuming, but so worth it, IMNSHO, because they are SO blasted cute! The hardest part for me was stitching them in place. Would have been easier to baste them, then stitch, but I pinned them and bloodied my fingers in the process. Think I may have broken a machine needle as well...
They aren't *hard* to make. They are just squares of fabric folded into triangles. The cool part is, all the raw edges wind up on the side that you stitch down, so they won't ravel.
Can post instructions from my book, if you like.

Carol ... Please share some of the instructions for the prairie points. I've always wondered what the secret to them was because they add such a special look to an edge.
