Brenda....go to thatperfectstitch.com under products. The video is called That perfect stitch and it has a wealth of info on hand quilting. She shows you the better way to sit so you have less stress on your hands and joints. My friend was having a lot of trouble with dizziness and she found part of it was the way she was holding herself and the way she was stitching. It also tells how a lot has to do with your thread count of your fabric. With some fabric it is impossible to get tiny stitches. I was amazed. Hope this helps...jan in Punxsy

Brenda I checked my dvd and she also gives a demonstration how to do left handed quilting. Maybe it would help if you can see it done......jan

Hey I can finally get back to practicing my hand quilting. My advanced accounting class is just about done and I have 3 more small assignments to finish up then I am taking a college break till next winter. I will spend the time painting my house and quilting. What fun will that be. YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

That's great news, Brenda! It will be wonderful not being tied to a schedule for a while. Wish I was there to help with your painting! It's always been me that has organized and got our family's homes painted on a regular basis. We make it a big party and we can do an entire home in two or three days ... inside and out. And I'm happy you are sticking with your hand quilting. When I feel like doing hand work, I pull out my "glutton for punishment quilt". lol It's the one I'm hand piecing and hand quilting and even though it's going to take a long time to finish, it's relaxing work and I love it.

Well I wish I could get help painting also. It is nice when it is done but this is one chore I never really look forward to because it has to be so messy before it looks good.
