OMG - SewMuch. I hope your cut isn't too bad. We kinda give GP a hard time about her armor when she cuts but seriously we should all at least get a Klutz glove. Those razors are very dangerous.

Klutz gloves sound like an excellent idea. But with my lack of grace and Sewmuch's attempt to multi-task, we need Klutz bodygloves. LOL

cindyg,
I've never heard of a Klutz glove before. Is there really a glove
to protect your hand while cutting ? I usually am more careful,
but I think this heat is making me so tired all the time!!
I just don't think as clearly when every pore in my body is
screaming that it can't take one more day of hot weather!!
And I'm praying I get thru August with my sanity. And yes I'm
whining but it's late into the evening and the air is still hot.
I bought 2 books today on Yorkies. So now I have 3 and should be
able to get as much info as I can. We got our Mama cat fixed
yesterday to the tune of $198.00, it seems like the price is getting
higher. So today we had to put hydrogen piroxide on the stitches to
keep them clean. I bought a squirt bottle, poured the liquid in
that and had my husband hold the cat and pet her and I aimed at her
with the bottle and was successful without getting nailed with
her claws. What we do for love !!!!

SusieQ51,
I needed a Klutz bodyglove back when I was a teenager!
I just remembered my older sister used to call me a Klutz all
the time and I would get so irritated with her. Ah, the
memories of siblings !

SewMuchTime - good idea with the peroxide squirt bottle. Schatzi just came and told me she needed to go out. She sat by my chair and whined. I asked her if she needed to go "out" and she barked. So "out" they all went. They learn eventually. Having other dogs that are already trained helps, too.
My grandson is here doing Sand Art. He's so artsy-craftsy. He wanted a Grand Slam at Denny's for his birthday dinner. That'll work (cheap). Then we went to Hobby Lobby and he got what he wanted. Several different projects and an art mat and it was still only $35. But he didn't want anything else so we came home. That is Gage doing the Sand Art. Gavin didn't come because he had baseball practice. It's nice to just have one boy at a time. It's so much quieter!!!!

cindyg,
So you have grandchildren. Well, I'm jealous !! I can't get either
one of my kids to fall in love and get married ! That's one of the
reasons I wanted a Yorkie. Something little and adorable to love and
hold in my arms. Today I'm going to a bridal shower and I'm bringing
Rosie, they said they all want to see her. As a gift, on the
invitation they asked that we all buy a sexy pair of underwear for
the bride and she can guess who it is from. Well she is going to
marry a man 21 years older than her. So for fun, I bought a package
of maternity underwear and on the front put stickers that said
"get busy, make babies". She'll probaly guess it's either from me or
her mom ! Should be a fun day. It'll be a 45 min. drive to this party so we'll see how Rosie will do. At least the weather has
cooled a little. Yippee !!

SewMuch - cute idea with the maternity panties. I hope Rosie does well. Don't forget to take her outside while you are having fun at the shower!

Just thought I'd catch you up on Punk.
He had learnt to hunt and kill.
Yesterday he hunted and killed a 2 yard long piece of rope and bought it into the house for us to praise him!
So far today he has killed a piece of wood and the foam handle off my garden shears and again bought them inside to share with us!
Has got 2 of his big boy fangs on the top and 1 on the bottom.
Tickles for Rosie.

kadie,
That is a riot about Punk !! Sounds like he really, really, loves
you two!! That is so adorable! It will stay cute until he starts bringing in the house the critters that are still alive. Let me know
when that starts! I had one cat that would always bring in lizards still alive, it made me crazy.
I would make the kids catch the lizards, and they enjoyed how much I freaked out over the reptiles. Punk just sounds like he has soo much personality!
Our mama cat has been teaching her kitten how to hunt. My husband
said he has seen the kitten follow every move the mama makes, even
crawling low on the ground to jump on something, and the kitten is
right behind her doing the same thing. This kitten seems so happy
to be alive. She has something so special about her, I can't pin
point it yet, but it's almost like she has a glow to her.
How is your weather doing ? Is it still dry? I can't wait for
fall, between the mosquitos and bees I've not been happy lately.
This summer we have more bees buzzing around than ever, and we have
3 traps up to catch them and it still seems not enough! I don't
know if it's all the dry weather we have had for soo long or what.
Oh Well, Mother Natures always the boss. Have a good Sunday !!

cindyg,
Rosie did real good at the Bridal Shower. Everybody loved her.
She slept at one point way over an hour which gave me time to
visit and eat and eat. So many yummy things, especially the
chocolate fodue with lots of fruit to dip in it. I saw that and
knew it was going to be a good day!! The bride got a kick out of the maternity panties. She received so many pretty ones, and some gorgeous satin lace nitegowns. Oh to be young again !!
