Joanne I'm not Caren but yep the beige is the Moleskin. It works wonders. Also can be used to mark your 1/4 in. from your needle.

KeepSake Quilting Catalog (newest issue) just came out with a new product of vinyl stripes that do the same thing, it does not leave any sticky residue and can be repositioned over and over again.

MY GF says to make the strips out of 1/2 inch blue painter tape..; cut down the center of the tape roll with a exacto knife and peel up a thick stripe of tape about 3-4 inches long. Position so you get your 1/4 inch seam allowance ( scant or exact your preference.

I am going to get some of the stripes because I am getting a new machine and want to keep it in pristine condition.

Wow I love the idea for sewing strips. I've been quilting for 30 plus years and had not heard of that tip. I sure will tell my friends.

I've heard of using it for the one side, but I never thought of using it for both sides!!!!! Waht a great idea!!!!

Mole skin is found in the foot care isle of your pharmacy.
