I have never tried quilt as you go.. but it does look fun... there are many how to videos on U-tube
there are also so many patterns, both free online and in books for Jelly roll quilts.. hope you find one you like.

It is a very fun way to put a quilt together -there are lots of videos out there to show you how - one tip is trim the batting back out of your seam allowances - this makes the quilt lie smoothly - like if you did it the old fashioned way.

I tried a quilt as you go. It was ok but the extra sewing of all the blocks on the back got to me after awhile..you may like it, but I am more of a traditionalist quilter... Have fun and jelly rolls are fun to play with too..you can find some nice quilts for them..Happy sewing, Sandy

I use quilt as you go method on large and small quilts because of arthritis in my neck and back.You have to experiment with several methods until you find one that works for you.There are several good books as well as videos.I tried the "Cotton Theory Method ".It was'nt a good fit for me.Just keep experimenting with various methods until you find one that works.The ones that trim the batting from seams do work well.Also using a flat batting seems to work better.Happy Quilting.
