Machine applique

Post by cr8tivequilter » Sun Jul 11, 2010 7:42 pm

I was wondering on the applique that I had put on a quilt that has been already quilted. I started to hand applique, but I was wondering if I should machine applique it with monofilament thread that way it wont show through the bottom. or should I just continue it by hand.

I would appricate any advice you can give me.

Thanks in advanced,

Lucy

I think even with the invisible thread - it will show on the back - so I would think that it you blind-catch stitch the applique on just through the top by hand will be the best.
