Single Irish Chain

Post by Chrissy1 » Sat Jun 05, 2010 3:35 pm

While watching QIAD today Eleanor was making a darling tied single irish chain with a young girl. I thought, what a great project for Myles and me. I know that the strips were 3 1/3" but I didn't catch the size of the solid blocks. Anyone else happen to watch the show. Thanks

Chrissy... I looked and my Irish chain book says to make the plain block the same size taht the 9 patch turns out to be.. so if the 9 patch ends up being 9 inches square then make the solid block 9 inches...

what a great project for Mr. Myles.. hope he enjoys it.
