enlarging patterns

how do i enlarge a pattern from couch size to twin size. Have no idea how or where to start. any suggestions would be great thank you lots

hello Lotsto...

is it a pattern that you can add another row of blocks to? or maybe an extra border.?

sometimes adding just another row across and maybe even a row up and down make all the difference... which pattern are you making?

Do you have the Quick Trips book? It is the same pattern and has all sizes in it. I recently made the Candy Cane Lane and instead of 12 strips, I used 14 and I added an inch to each border to make a lap quilt for a large man who had an accident. I am not sure that it wasn't large enough for a twin size.
