I want to make a two color Hunter's star. What size would better, small medium or large?

Linda, I'm not sure if you are talking about the size of the block or the size of the finished quilt. The finished size will determine the size of the blocks. This is a beautiful block, good luck with it.

I am wondering if large or smaller stars look best. I am thinking of two colors, black for the background and a patterned red print for the stars. I am thinking smaller stars.
