Seminole Borders
I am having difficulty making a "turn" with the seminole border. Is there a trick to this?

Re: Seminole Borders
well i am working on my first one, in El's book she has you make a 9 patch for the corners and just but the borders up to it
i am sure there must be another way but i don't know of it.

Re: Seminole Borders
Check out El's seminole border--she makes an oversized corner piece that you can move around to match up to the border. It's in the Media Theater, Stars across America, Seminole woman star. HTH

Re: Seminole Borders
I just did my first 6 inch wide seminole border. For my corners I made 6 inch applique blocks with a baby chick on it. Turned out nice for my first try. I copied from a quilt that had 12 inch borders with hens for the corner blocks.
