Pin Cushions

I fill mine with poly stuffing and sometimes add the plastic pellets for weight. I have also heard that putting a small amount of steel wool in the center helps keep your needles sharp.

Wool roving is wool that has been carded but not made into yarn. It is very loose strands of wool.

calicopuzzle That is a really good suggestion on the sand! It sounds like a really good alternative!

Emery is very good for needles and will keep them very sharp. If you have purchased a Tomato with an attached small strawberry shaped object. The "strawberry" is filled with emery. I did purchase some emery from Birdbrain and forgot to mention it earlier.
