Thanks for all the suggestions. I have watched the video by El 4 times as I use my elliptical trainer. I think the major problem I had was that I started with 13" blocks, instead of 12". It made it hard to line up the arcs and hard to square up evenly.

However, now that I am putting the whole thing together, it is looking better than I thought. I used the Magic Vine fabrics and they are colorful enough to distract you from looking at all the mismatched areas. I think it will be fine when I am done. I will post a picture when it is finished----which has to be by April 27th---for the wedding.
