Hi all! I got some great templates from a sweet lady here on the forum! Thank you so much for the help, Rosalind! Is Bland50 your forum name?
I haven't actually used them to cut my fabric yet but they are definitely bigger than the ones I've been using so I'm pretty sure they are gonna work.

i have always done this as a paper pieced block

Linda -

Isn't this similar to the QIAD Garden Walk from Egg Money Quilts? It seems pretty close, just that the smaller squares are different colors. I just did a baby quilt and it turned out well. I'll have to double check the measurements and get back to you. It really was pretty easy once I got the right ruler- Triangle in a square rulers.
