Changing a 6 inch to a twelve inch double everything except the l/4 inch seam allowances. Then you have to contend with the extra l/2 inch for the l2 and l/2 inch block. That has to be added into the peaces. Then after everything is doubled then add the l/4 inch seam allowance. Do it with paper. Cut and piece the paper together and see if it comes out right.
