The Wonder Cut way
I just want to clap my hands for the Wonder Cut ruler. I love this thing! I just made 208 HST's in 1 hour and 18 min., from start to finish. If you've never used one, you owe it to yourself to try it. And, the other day when I called with a question about making the 6.5" HST, the owner herself answered the phone. She explain it to me and asked me if I had their new Wonder Cut Triangle ruler and had made the Tumbling Blocks quilt. Nope, so she sent me one, with the pattern! So, now I'm making a Tumbling Blocks quilt with no Y-seams!!I just need to pick my fabrics.

I have this ruler and it's amazing how fast you can make a lot of HSTs. The site has detailed instructions with pictures how to use it, which when you do it once you'll remember, it's not like you have to re learn how to use it if you put it away for long time. I've never had a problem with the HSTs having the bias edge. Check out Bonnie's site for some out of the box ways to use this ruler. Great ideas!

I like the sound of making Tumbling Blocks with no Y-seams! Love the pattern, but do not enjoy Y-seams, especially that many! Thanks.
