Has anyone here used the circle magic template? I saw it on QNN and looked interesting.Looks fairly eay...

It`s a round template...look up Brandy`s mylar in your search..when in her internet sight,,,she has a video..circle magic..looks interesting...not too difficult...I think...

I think this looks a lot like the Rings That Bind circle technique and the old mock cathedral window block construction.

I have this book and template and haven't played with it yet. I need to experiment to see whether it looks nicer with flannel as a batting layer or 'battless' (only quilters would understand this word!)

Brandy's web site has a video on making the circles.

Has anyone here tried this yet?

Yes, I have it! It's great, but alot of work. You have to cut all your circles,mark them, sew RST, cut the slit, flip, press and do it over and over. Then, you sew on the marks you made earlier, and quilt 2 at a time. I made a table runner, I just couldn't do anymore after all that. Looks great though, real nice. Amie
