Yes Cindy he is special and we love him to bits. He has been with us 3 months now and it's like he's been here forever. I haven't long put him out for the night after playing dodgems behind the lounge trying to catch him. He's a cunning little critter.

I'd never heard of a cat liking water, either! He sounds like a real character and will keep you laughing at his antics! The little clown! I love the little furbabies that have such colorful personalities and are so comical to watch.

And speaking of quilters health.....I'll tell ya'll this, when I woke up this a.m. without my crown and immediately had a bad hair day as a result, I started running a temperature! It is not healthy for a Quiltin Queen to be without her crown!!! LOL!

Do take care of your health. I really have to watch myself because I become so engrossed in my quilting that I forget to stop and rest and even forget to eat. I have finally put my self on a schedule. I sit at the machine for about half hour and then get up and walk around a bit, then relax in my recliner for ten minutes. This may sound stupid to some of you but at 85 I have to be careful because I have many quilts to make before I give it up. When you have arthritis you must not sit too long without standing and stretching a little. Trust me, I've had arthritis since I was nineteen years old and had to learn to live with it.Your body will be kinder to you if you don't put too juch stress on it. Just take care and happy quilting!

I agree with you QuiltinKay. I am only 56 but have been bothered by arthritis for years. The older I get the worse it gets. I have to get up every once in a while just to keep the juices flowing to my joints. If I sit too long I can hardly move. That's why my ironing board is across the room from my machine - makes me at least get us and walk a few feet. Gettin' old ain't for sissies, is it? But you are going good, Kay. Keep it up. I know you have quilts in your head to get made.
