Bev, it always seems to happen. No matter how careful we are something always goes a little wrong. I love the way they explained it in the old days: Only God makes things perfect. So our quilts have an obvious error to honor God's perfection. Works for me!

You'll laugh but I must have cut up 3 yards of my El's Lace to get the binding cut right I kept ending up with a V

I am still working on my fans and flutterbys quilt the butterfies are so cute I am making one for a 2 year old so I get to make her lots of bright colors. I am just finishing ironing the butterfies down then I will be doing the blanket stitch on the machine.

Bev, that will be so cute! I love that book. The butterflies are just perfect for a little girl. I made a few of the fan tablerunners and just loved them. We used to have a die-cut to make the fan blades and it saved a lot of time.
