OK, I am banging my head on the wall. I am almost finished with my hand sewing my binding and I just realized I didn't put a label on it! Now I have to hand sew the label! duh! lol

I will start watching for her quilts. I am so amazed at all you can do with the LA. I was afraid to cut loose. I'm not anymore. I am going to try the feathering she is a very good teacher.
I started weight watchers last week it's really hard this time of year. I am really hungry I just made some popcorn!

Lee.........a true friend will not be looking for mistakes.....she'll just be thrilled that you made her something. I think we're all too critical of our own work sometimes. Are you getting much snow in Ohio?

I started with a wreath pattern that was basically 5 or 6 seams in each block, then they were sewen together. It worked out really fast. I think it was in a McCall's pattern. I'll look it up when I get back to NY. That was very easy and a great one to start with. I almost made that one for my friend but decided one that was a little bigger would be better. The tree I'm doing is probably the second PP pattern I did. Not quite as easy as the wreath but still pretty easy.

Bev, I think popcorn is a good choice, just don't add anything to it. Well, maybe some hot sauce to add some zing but no butter or cheese.
ME, you are right, I know. And since it's a wallhanging, and a Chritmas one to boot, it's not like it's going to be washed a lot. Ok, I'm good. As soon as it's finished it will be off to it's new home.

I love the idea of a wreath. For my Holiday Round Robin block I made an applique wreath. Just loved it. Still don't have it back but maybe someday it will find it's way home! lol
I just used a clip art pointsettia and traced it on Heat n Bond. I really liked the way it turned out. That is what I love about applique. You can make anything and really tailor it to what you want.
