Another idea you just gave me--I'm going to make pillow cases too.
My grandkids would love them & I have a niece & baby sister on the way to sew for.

I want to make something for my DGD to put her babies clothes in. Either a bag or basket or ---?. Any ideas on anything I could do?

a bag would be easier but a basket would be sturdier.

I think it may be for a Xmas present, but then again the colors work nicely for my living room so you never know...and I'll post pics when I get it together! First I have to get more strip sets together. Off I go.

I don't know how old your DGD is but my two nieces that are 5 and 6 love to carry around bags with all of their stuff in them :) They will carry around their baby dolls and a bag on each shoulder :)

My DGD is 5 & does like to carry things on her shoulder. Maybe I'll look tomorrow in a quilt book & make her a bag.
