The wind!

Post by roseytoes » Mon Dec 03, 2007 8:42 am

The wind is howling today! 50 to 60 mph. DH is on a flight to Chicago and DS is a corporate pilot. The wind is making me nervous.

Edited to read:
Sorry wrong discussion topic. See I told you I was nervous today!

I know exactly what you're saying about the winds. I'm northeast of you and it's horrible here.

Hopefully if the winds are as bad at the airports, they'll ground both DH and DS's flights. They don't take chances. But I understand perfectly about feeling nervous about it. Hang in there!

DH & DS are both safe and on the ground. Do we ever stop worrying?!
I took DS#2 to the train to go to work. There are trees down all over.

Thanks Jennie :) DS#2 threw a bit of his humor at me when I mentioned his Dad flying to Chicago "Don't worry Mom its called the windy city, they can handle it" DS#1 is the pilot, I'm used to him flying, but when the weather is ugly I can't help but worry. I think I was updating at the same time you were asking lol! Thanks for caring.

So glad to hear both your guys are safe.

Have the winds subsided in your area? They're still as bad here and will continue through tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. No fun at all!

Stay warm!

The winds you are having sounds awful! Roseytoes I am so glad that your guys are safe. I do not blame you for being worried. I would be too. But as Jennie suggested, try to put your worries in the Lords hands. I can say it much easier than doing it. Guess it is a gal thing for us to be worriers. Anyway, happy they are safe. Now try to relax.

Huge Hugs
