Quilt in a Day Forums

It's that time again! I came down with a cold yesterday and my Bernina caught the flu, so I came home early from work today to pack up Bernie and the Horne cabinet to get her ready to go to the sewing machine hospital. I'm going to set up my Janome for tonight's Sew-In, get in my pj's, round up my projects and get ready for girls night!

It's only 4:19 p.m. here right now, I figure everyone will be off work and getting home about 8-9:00 p.m. my time, so I'll get myself set-up and organized and then pop in later to see who shows up at the party! Been looking forward to this all week! Yahoo!! See ya'll later on.........

Oh good! I was afrarid you were starting already! I want dinner first! If you start now I'll never catch up!

I just finished dinner-chili soup. Sounds like a good one with the storm system moving in. It's 6 pm here. I'm going to be working on a Christmas quilt.

It's just after 7 here. We've had dinner, I talked to DH, I'm not planning on working on a project because I wrapped presents today and got sore. Unless I decide to work on putting a border on the donation quilt, which might happen, I'm here to chat!

Hi Everyong!! I haven't joined the sew-in before, but thought I would drop in this evening

I have had a terrible week!!! I have a tooth and ear that has hurt like the dickens. Although I thought the pain was coming from a tooth, the dentist x-rayed and said everything was fine. Went to my doctor--there's fluid in the ear and some redness. Gave me cipro and nose spray. Now----I have stomach problems and the runs. My mother is on dialysis and I had to take her Wednesday(about 50 miles) to the doctor in the mess.

But anyway, I am feeling slightly better. I'm ready to sew. I thought I would work on my scrap challenge quilt.

What is everyone working on tonight????

Hi Redtop, I'm sorry you've had such a bad week. I hope it gets better. I'm working on my hand PT tonight. Keyboarding is good for dextarity.

Can I join in too? Its 5:30 here and I am working on my frog quilt for my mom for Christmas. I am doing snowball blocks and I have about 40 fabrics, so its a sorta I-spy but not totally.
