Is anyone doing any actual sewing right now? I was working on DH quilt earlier but I think I'm done for the night.

Just finished doing what is probably a no-no ...

I made a small quilt and decided I wanted it puffier ... now mind you, it's already been quilted.

So ... I trimmed the borders and cut all the excess off, added new batting and backing and just finished pinning it.

Am I gonna be sorry I did this? (A little late now to ask huh???)

I had heart surgery On the 6th so I can't get a cold so I have been washing my hands like crazy and taking airborne 3 times a day.
Feel better take lots of vitamin C and zinc

Caren, my DIL to be is a nurse and swears by zicam.

Hi! It's 8:09 here. I got my Bernina packed up and then decided to take a short nap since I've got a cold...hmmmm, that was almost 4 hours ago and I just woke up! LOL! I don't mess around with naps, do I? I can't talk about two projects I'm working on tonight because one is for my mom and the other is for QIAD-Linda, and they'll both read the posts! LOL! Tomorrow night's meeting I'm going to work on something I can gab about, though! LOL!

I'll join in a bit later...it's only 1711 here, and we haven't had dinner. After the girls have gone to bed I might drag out a nine-patch block, which came out too big, and frog it in preparation for trimming the patches down a bit.

A pot of cheeseburger soup awaits...delicious on a cold and blustery night!
