Project from the heart.....' Hearts Around The World'

I am asking for Quilted Heart blocks, any size, for Eleanor Burns.



I know this is a very busy time of the year to ask for this.


Maybe I can get a few Campers at Camp Cedar Glen to do the same and add to the .....'Hearts Around the World' ?

Let me know what all of you here think about doing and/or participating in this project.

Susanna, I'm in. Just let me know exactly what you need. I'm not familiar with "hearts around the world". What size, color, etc.? How many do you need? When do you need them? Is there some place or book to see a "hearts around the world" quilt? Since Susanna won't be back here until sunday nite, does anyone else know what this project is and where I can get a pattern?
Are the blocks each quilted or will it be put together and quilted? Thanks, anyone for more information.

I'm in also. . . .I thought maybe there would be a pattern in the free pattern section. I think QIAD-Linda is in Julian today with Susanna, Ann, and CarolJ.

Should we wait or make CindyB's pattern?

El has a heart pattern in "Quilts through the Seasons" book. It's paper pieced but it could be made with a nice print I think.

Is the idea to make a quilted block or make blocks for a quilt? If we made blocks for the quilt then there could be enough for several family members, not just El. What do you think? I've never tried the paper piecing one but I have the book.
