In Still Stpipping and It's ElEmentary, there is a pattern for a log cabin heart which is beautiful. Going to try that and, as others, wait for further instructions, to quilt or not, where and when to send, etc. carol/kittyquilt

I like the idea of using one of El's patterns for the blocks. She has some beautiful heart ones that were listed on posts below this one. Like ya'll, I'm just waiting for Susanna to give us further instructions. This was a very thoughtful idea Susanna had and will make all of us feel better to be doing something to show our love for the Burns family.

What a compasionate idea Susanna..... I will chip in a block.... Can't wait till Sunday evening when you give more direction... size, color, quilted, etc..... I am not a great quilter, but I can contribute a heart block easily.

OK.....crazy question here..... El loves blue.... should we break with convention and make our hearts blue??? (I know - kick me now, I just bought like 6 yards of read and pink!)

I too would like to make a heart. I'll wait until susanna returns with more instructions. I hope I have fabric I can use. I don't have any QIAD fabric but I have some nice fat quarters I can use.
