GP and the rest of El's Angels ~

What a great idea and I am in for sure!!! I can't wait for Friday. I am starting my list, both of the projects I want to work on and the snacks I want for Friday night. I have cozy warm jammies ready and waiting and will be making a batch of GP's hot chocolate and the spiced tea. They say variety is the spice of life. LOL

DH just laughed when I told him I was spending Friday evening with my stitching sisters. He asked if I would be in my official attire and when I asked him what that was, he walked over and picked up my rainbow boa and tierra! I had to just smile and say YES!!!! He then offered to make a fresh pot of coffee and supper that night so I could just sew. I think he figured out that coffee was a must and that supper would probably not be my first priority and he would eat better if he cooks. Smart man and lucky me!!
Happy stitching!!!

Do we have a time, or is it just "whenever". Luckily my computer is in the same room that I sew in. YES!!! Too bad I will have to go to the kitchen for my hot chocolate - you will have to behave when I am gone.!!!

Well count me in! I may not be sewing, rather cleaning up my sewing room, there does come a time! So I can clean and chat, I will call that motivation! Have to clean because some crazy fool stole into our home about three weeks ago and whispered in our ears: "sell that house and buy a new one" - well we bought the new one yesterday so have to get this place on the market!

So, the sewing room is my domain, I have to be the one to clean it, probably will pack away some stuff, it is important for the lookers to be able to at least get in the room!

I will certainly be in on this one, but like spudmom, I may just be cleaning and not sewing. I need to straighten up this room so that I can get inspired once more. If I get this joint cleaned up by Friday then I can start on my Christmas swap block lap quilt. I bought backing fabric and sashing fabric months ago but have not done anything with it. This would be the perfect opportunity to get started, that is if I get my cleaning done. I guess this is a good incentive to get the stacks cleared off my table and run that vacuum cleaner across the floor.LOL

EL’S ANGELS ARE COMING TO TOWN

Making a list and checking it twice
Girls Night In should be naughty and nice
'cause, Santa Claus is coming to town...

With disaster quilt blocks and teddy bears, too
Our creations will appear right out of the blue
‘cause, Santa Claus is coming to town..

He sees us when were chatting, he knows that we're awake
He ducks when trimmings fly through the air
So watch out, for goodness' sake

We’re sewing for Moms, Dads, Sisters and more
The fabrics are scattered all over the floor
‘cause, Santa Claus is coming to town…

For victims of tragedies, needing so much
We’re making some hugs and touchable stuff,
Sharing our blessings and spreading some love

Comfort squares, stockings for troops in Iraq,
Prayers that loved ones will safely come back
Projects from the Heart are coming to town

We'll break for cocoa and goodies, we'll laugh and play and sew
Lots of projects will be completed
And our faces will be aglow

So SANTA:

You better watch out, you better not sigh
You better not pout, I'm telling you why

El's Angels are coming to town.

WATCH OUT SANTA, HERE WE COME!!!
