I love the patterns you have chosen. I made sure to save them to my computer and listed them next to your address in my address book to refer to.
These are great choices and should be fun to make. I will get the pedal to the metal as soon as the holidays are over.
Hugs
Velda

It's with a humble Heart I Thank everyone who had a part in my DBs quilt. It was beautiful but most of all it's the love support shown to us.DD & my niece were overwhelmed that strangers would do this.I told them it's an awesome group of Ladies.
Thank you for the place you hold in my Heart. Hugs to all Becca

I apologize for being late getting this note posted. I have had company at our house almost constantly since end of August and the lat of them finally left yesterday. I, too, want to thank El's Angels for the quilt made for my brother, Jim. It arrived 3 days before he passed away but the thought that our group would do this for him overwhelmed my family. It was an amazing gesture and I know Tina used every minute she could squeeze out of her busy days to try to get it done in time. Indeed, this group is well named! There are angels here! Thank you so much! I know now, firsthand, just how comforting these 'comfort quilts' can be!

El's Angels, the name fits perfectly......We couldn't be more pleased or surprised at Jim receiving this quilt....Of course it's already been claimed by our furbaby, "Baby Girl" but Jim has agreed to share....He keeps looking at the label and says, "This is for me"....And then looking at the backing and seeing eagles was special...When he was in Korea, he was in the 101st Airborne and they were known as the "Screaming Eagles".....
I can't thank you enough for putting that smile on Jim's face and also for all of you being there for me...I'm very blessed.....

Maryz picked the eagles backing, and at the time I thought it was purrfect because of your eagle watch. Now it's truly special with the Screaming Eagles history. So glad we could bring smiles to Jim and to you.

Tina.....I've copied down all the info needed for this project. And taped to the window next to the sewing table. Backing is a very good reason to go to the "$2.99 Fabric Store".

Thank you all you angels!!!!

$2.99 fabric store! Sure wish we had one of those here in California! The last quilt shop close to me is closing so I will be missing my Friday sew night each month. May have to start considering less quality fabric as now I have no where but WalMart to shop.

I will try to get some blocks done. I no longer have Tina's address so if somebody could PM it to me I would appreciate it.
